Madathumbhagom: A free eye check-up camp was jointly organized by the Vijayapuram Social Service Society (VSSS) and expert ophthalmologists from the Government Medical College, Kottayam. The camp was held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Little Flower Church premises in Madathumbhagom.
Rev.Fr. Felix Devasia Puratheparambil, VSSS Executive Director, officially inaugurated the camp. Rev. Fr. Jiss Anickal, Parish Vicar, presided over the meeting.
Dr. Aswathy from the Ophthalmology Department of Kottayam Medical College reviewed and spoke about the camp activities. Subin K. Sunny, PDC Madathumbhagom Parish Secretary, delivered the welcome speech, and Sheela Ravi, Animator, expressed the vote of thanks.
A total of 103 members benefited from the free eye examinations conducted under the leadership of the expert medical team.
