Women and Health’ Cancer Awareness Class Organized at St. Mary’s Parish, Manarkad
Manarkad: A cancer awareness class was jointly organized by the Vijayapuram Social Service Society’s (VSSS) ‘Ashakiranam’ project and DDRC Agilus at St. Mary’s Parish, Manarkad. The session, held on Sunday (November 30), focused on the topic “Women and Health.”
The class was led by Dr. Shankar Sundaram, Technical Director of DDRC Agilus Path Labs. He spoke on various topics including cancer symptoms, preventive measures, and general women’s health.
Parish Vicar Rev. Fr. Joseph Meenaykodath delivered the introductory address. Mr. Jijo Kulathattil, PDC Secretary of St. Mary’s Parish, delivered the welcome speech, and Mrs. Shalini Joychan proposed the vote of thanks. Around 45 people, including children and adults, attended the session.
