KOTTAYAM: Under the auspices of the KLM (Kerala Labour Movement) Vijayapuram Diocese, professional tool kits were distributed to 15 selected members of the Construction Workers’ Welfare Fund. The distribution ceremony was held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Amalanilayam.

Inauguration: Rev. Fr. Jacob Mavumkal, Director of the Kerala Social Service Forum, officially inaugurated the distribution.
Keynote & Felicitations: Rev. Fr. Anas Paul, Assistant Director of VSSS, offered felicitations and praised the initiative for supporting local livelihoods.
The event commenced with a welcome speech by Mr. K.J. Joseph, President of KLM Diocese, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Project Officer Mr. Sebastian Mattathil.
The gathering saw a significant turnout of over 100 participants, including VSSS animators, beneficiaries, and various well-wishers. This initiative is part of the Diocese’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the working conditions and efficiency of skilled laborers in the construction sector.
