The Convocation Ceremony for 37 successful students of the NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) approved Mechanic Diesel trade for the academic year 2024-25, at St. Joseph’s ITI, operating in Nagampadam, Kottayam, under the Vijayapuram Social Service Society (VSSS), was grandly conducted on September 25.
The function, presided over by Rev. Fr. Augustine Binoy Mecheri, Director of VSSS, was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Aji Joseph Kakramcherry, Curia Moderator of the Diocese of Vijayapuram.
Rev. Fr. Aji Joseph Kakramcherry addressed the gathering, congratulating the students. Following this, the distribution of certificates to the course successful candidates was carried out jointly by Rev. Fr. Augustine Binoy Mecheri, Rev. Fr. Aji Joseph Kakramcherry, and Rev. Fr. Felix Devasia, Assistant Director of VSSS.
Rev. Fr. Felix Devasia , Assistant Director of VSSS, delivered the welcome address. Mr. Benny George, Principal of the ITI, proposed the vote of thanks.
The ceremony concluded with the hope that the technical training provided by the ITI will be a valuable asset to the successful students in their future lives.
