‘Koode-2025’ Children’s Day Week Celebrations Conclude at Vijayapuram
Vijayapuram: The ‘Koode-2025’ Children’s Day Week celebrations, organized jointly by the Department of Women and Child Development and the District Child Protection Unit, concluded with notable events at the Vijayapuram Social Service Society (VSSS). The concluding ceremony and the awareness class for child protectors, held on November 20, highlighted the significance of child protection.
The event was inaugurated by the Honourable Sub Judge & Secretary, DLSA, Shri. Praveenkumar G. The convention, presided over by the Designated CWC Chairperson, Smt. Asha Mohan, featured a keynote address by the District Women and Child Development Officer, Smt. Tiju Rachel Thomas. She emphasized children’s rights and the necessity of their protection. Rev. Fr. Augustine Binoy Mecheril, Director of Vijayapuram Social Service Society, and CWC Member, Smt. Ansy Philip T, delivered felicitation speeches.
Several dignitaries were present at the event, including CWC members Shri. Kiran Paulose, Shri. Jidheesh George, Smt. Sindhu Mathew, and Smt. Sabitha Shenoy, representative of the Kerala State AIDS Control Society, among others. The week-long celebration successfully concluded with an awareness class that proved highly beneficial in ensuring the safety of children and providing a clear understanding of their rights.
