Pala: The Vijayapuram Social Service Society (VSSS) organized a dynamic one-day leadership training seminar, ‘Thalir Grow and Lead,’ for the members of Vijay Balavedi at the Pala Guadalupe Mata Church. The event, held on January 26, aimed at nurturing the next generation of leaders within the community.
Inauguration and Vision
The seminar was officially inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Joshy Puthuparambil. In his address, he emphasized the importance of grooming children with strong values and leadership skills to help them excel in their future endeavors.
Key Sessions & Highlights
The day was packed with informative and interactive sessions led by experienced coordinators:
Understanding Balavedi: CDO Mr. Mathew Joseph conducted an in-depth session on the Balavedi Constitution, explaining the guidelines and the impact of the organization on a child’s growth.
Skill Development: CDOs Shilpa Babu and Christina George led sessions on core leadership attributes. They focused on the importance of Daily Routine Pre-planning and organized various activities to boost the children’s confidence.
Expert Training: Trainees Godson, Sobin, Sr. Jane, and Sony shared valuable insights on personal development and creative thinking.
Active Participation
The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 50 Balavedi members of the parish. Through group activities and discussions, the students were able to explore their creative potential and learn the essence of teamwork.
